The value of the cards in Baccarat is decided in a different way than other card games like texas holdem poker or BlackJack. The highest possible card a person may have is 9 and the lowest is 0. The player and banker deal two cards each. The cards from 2 to 9 have their face value. The picture cards and ten is 0 and ace is 1. The cards are totaled and the digit from the ten’ place is dropped in a two digit number. The person who has cards nearest to 9 wins. You can bet on either the banker or the player but there is a third bet called tie where banker and player have same value. This is a risky bet.
